This is the same discussion as with 64bit Windows back around the Windows 7 deployment timeframe, with the same sorts of arguments for or against, and 32bit is now no longer the default option, it's the "use it if you need it, otherwise don't" choice. This is generally my recommendation to clients - consider 64bit unless you've a reason to use 32bit (or have a reasonable expectation you may need to use 32bit add-ins in the future). Also, Outlook uses considerable resources even under 32bit, but 64bit seems more stable with users with larger mailboxes. We need to run the downloaded click-to-run installer in order to download installation. At this moment, the offline installer or full setup of Office 2016 is not available. Be sure to download the right version of the installer. If not, then it probably doesn't make sense, especially if you use 3rd party add-ins that aren't designed for at least the Office 2013 add-in model (aka, not COM controls). Step 1: Visit this page of Office 2016 and download the click-to-run installer for your 32-bit or 64-bit Windows. Maybe pro allows you to? We had to buy licenses for the 2007 visio copies we still were using (I know) but were able to upgrade one 2013 copy as per above to 2016.

You also can't install Visio again afterwards unless it is 2016. The web installer is just a small file usually under 5 Home which downloads the actual Office suite and installs it for you. When you can download Microsoft Office from the official website you 2016 only get the online or web installer. If you install Office 2016 H&B when Visio 2013 is on there, it forces you to uninstall Visio 2013 before the installation can continue. That must be why, Office 2016 H&B is what we are using, retail copies (bit of a PITA but we couldn't justify the extra cost per license based on our use-case). I'm running 32bit Office 2016 Pro with 32bit Visio 2013 Pro on my main workstation without issue.
